History
The Muyoyah Memorial Foundation was formed by the late Mr. Samuel Muyoyah’s children following his passing into the presence of the Lord in 1991. He was the founder of Kandenba Evangelical Church, located 4 kilometres from Solwezi town (the headquarter of the NW Province of Zambia). The NW Province borders with Angola and Congo Republic.
Through resources made available, the centre was established within the community to instruct, guide and teach men, women and youth. Womens’ and youth clubs were started, and agricultural and infrastructure projects were added. The Word of God spread throughout the communities as the people learned how to read, study and teach each other. The love of Christ was spoken and shown to everyone, from regular attenders to volunteer workers.
Today, our mission is to serve the communities around the district with physical and spiritual help, encouraging self-sufficient.
